Hey is there any way I could use your twitter grunge backgrounds on this site. I am complete graphic computer illiterate Sp? And don't know how to spell ;)

Thank you for looking! It is amazing how empowering the whole process was. I finally felt like I had some control. I am getting ready to do a new one on madness and mental illness.

LOL- The etched metal isn't for a swap (well maybe because one of my groups just announced an earrings swap), but for some jewelry that I'm making. Which plated did you get? And did you tell them that BookArtz sent ya? ;-)

Thank you! I made it last night after a crying session. I really love it visually. The symbolism is great. Standing alone, looking at your feet in the mud because our journey has been so long and filled with all kinds of ups & downs....and the mud is the only color except her. I love it. I am so proud of that page because it was for her. Thanks for commenting on it and having good words about about it...I wasn't sure if I was just "bias"!

Nope, not dumb assumptions at all! We all have to learn somehow, right?

Hi Christy! Thanks for the comments on my pics. Speaking of steampunk, I'm about to try another glass pendant hopefully this weekend. There's a pic of my first (failed) attempt here:

Christy, the technique that I was experimenting with is posted under "Rust Technique" in this neighborhood. Stacie posted it a few weeks ago.

I'm trying to make that transition myself. Altering clothing gets boring - altering books (and anything else) is a dream come true. Fiber arts is so freeing. I absolutely adore your work on your slideshow.

Hey, Christy, welcome to the neighborhood.......I have 8 albums full of ATCs...........keep thinking I'll get away from them, but have joined with some local artists and we do one for each other every month. I absolutely love ABs! Love the pics you posted.......
hope you'll be able to join in some of our swaps soon.
