The Prodigal Child Returns!
I'm back! Woo hoo! OMG it's been so long! My computer broke down in September and after that, my life went kaflooey! So many obsticles and challenges, the worst of which was the loss of my brother, Philip, to cancer. I could blog all about that and all the other difficulties of 2008, but frankly, I just don't want to go back there, right now. I do want you all to know that I'm sorry I've been away so long and I really do like this network! I am beginning to recover and create, again and so I will be back more often, now with the latest pics of my creative recovery. I'm still figuring out how to use this new computer and I still don't have access to my favorite art programs and so my pics will have to be straight out of the camera, until I can learn new software.
Anyway, here's a pic of my latest obsession. I've been painting textured paper, then I'm using it in my journaling. This is a little, art paper doll that I made for my daughter with some samples of my painted paper.
It sure is good to be back.
