I just joined and am very interested in learing how to do altered art book binding. Will there be any classes on this topic? Have I joined the right ning for this?

If not, is there such a workshop that anyone knows of, that I could take?

I am still trying to find my way around the site.

Stacie, I am actually looking for all the different binding stitches. I am creating my own altered art book, but I want to learn all the different stitches and possibly sell journals. Might there be a book with all the stitches for bookbinding? I have googled it to no avail. Thanks for your help.

Hi Franny & welcome. Let me see if I can dig up some links for you. Which would you prefer- bookbinding or altered books? Or putting a book together so you can do artsy stuff in it- like a journal type of thing? LMK- we've got links out the wazoo!!! DM me if you need to, it'll go right to my email.
