A Soul Journey: My first art journal

Lately I have been obsessed with my art journal. I have wanted to work in an art journal for a while now but never could seem to get started. Then a great artist by the name of Sarah Whitmire posted a challenge on her blog that I happened upon. This challenge is really a daily prompt to create a spread in a journal. So far there isn't a LOT of journaling but I am guessing we will get to that eventually.

This has been a real blast and if any of you have been thinking of doing an art journal this might be a good way to get started.

I stopped where I was and decided to make a new journal for this project, so I'm making the "Easy Peasy" journal that I found on YouTube. I've added a link to it, on my latest blog. Just FYI. The journal I was using was small and not too sturdy, so as soon as the new one is finished, I'll get back to journaling!

I have begun my journal for this project. It's really helping me clean out some cobwebs. As I get further along, I'll add a new page to my website where I will share my adventure...or I may just blog about it, but I wanted to say again how much that site has inspired. Today, I'm creating my armor. :) I'm a little behind, but no matter. It's easy to catch up.

Christy after I looked at your posts about it, I bookmarked Sarah's link. I think I'm going to give it a shot. I'm having a hard time balancing my time again and I'm hoping this will get me back on track. Thanks for sharing this.

What a great site, Christy! Thank you! I've enjoyed Sarah's blog and look forward to playing along, as I have the time. I've been working on a Healing Art Journal and I need to get back to it. This is just the inspiration I needed!
