- I am a retired art teacher and now live in a rural area of Western NY with my husband and two cats. I enjoy meeting people over the computer and also belong to several local art groups. I've been interested in creating books,collages,digital art,paper dolls and mail art for many years. I like to participate in swaps or robins for altered books.

- About my Art:
- I like to create collages and also paint in water color.
I've been a paper doll artist for 25 years and take my work to conventions for the Artist Gallery. I show my art locally at the Impact Artists' Gallery. I've been doing many digital collages over the past two years and try to put something new nearly every day on my Blog.
For my photographs,I like to find textures and common materials and give them a new life and meaning in a photo.

I am also working with another artist to organize a Book Arts show at the Impact Artists' Gallery in Buffalo for next Oct.

Book Arts Show
I am working to help organize a show of altered books and handmade books for the Impact Artists' Gallery in Buffalo,NY. This is a woman's gallery, or at least it is run by women and members have opportunities to exhibit several times a year and also submitt work for National Shows.
The Book Arts show is open to all and I am sending this announcement as an invitation to each one of you to send some books for display.

Thank you for the warm welcome! I've had a digital camera for quite awhile and it is great to be able to take pictures and within a short time, you can have them loaded on the computer and share with others. I have taken pictures of the creek in front of our house for years. Never tire of the changes in light,weather and time of day. It is great to be able to add them to my Blogs.
