About Me:
The questions "what if" or "how can I" are the ones that motivate me the most in the studio. It's the exploration of finding and discovering new ways to manipulate and embellish paper and fabric that drive me into the studio and inspire me every day.

I rarely work in flat surfaces except during the initial design process, which for me is usually just a list of scribbled notes on a page in my notebook. I enjoy working in 3D and creating sculptural objects, such as boxes or vases, or functional ones like journals and sketchbooks. The challenge of taking a flat surface created with paper, fabric or a combination of both and giving it form to stand on its own is incredibly exciting to me.

My goal is not to create a perfect and flawless item. It is to create a piece that excites the viewers eyes when they look at it, makes them wonder when they hold it in their hands and inspires their own imagination when they consider how it was created.

It appears that they were all opened and stored flat because there are no real creases set in any of… Continue

Letters to Nancy

Inside this book are 24 letters written over a period from September 1881 to December 1883 to a Miss Nancy A Austin in Yorkville from a gentleman named W M Moody. In these letters W writes of his love for Nancy and of how he wish… Continue
