Hi Lyn! In case you've forgotten what the Song Books look like... (sorry, I couldn't resist!), I added a couple of images to my blog this morning. I'm not sure if there are Do and Don't things about posting images of these swaps. Is this okay like it is?
Hi from Denver where it's been very cold! Can hardly wait to return to FL on Sunday. It's been great visiting w/children & grandchildren, but there's no place like home.
Lyn, I'm not sure if I bought that on stampdiva.com or if I picked
it up at Hobby Lobby. I buy tons of stuff from Susan Wilken (THE
STAMP DIVA !). She was in my very first rubber stamp club and bought the lady out that sold the shop where we were meeting, but she chose to have her shop online. She carries wonderful embellishments............and I know she does a lot of paper lace. There were a few pages that I used some old lace on that I had picked up in a second hand store......I dipped them in diluted walnut ink, hung them out to dry and then cut them to fit my pages............just wish I had had more of the real stuff. But, I did like the way the paper lace worked on the pages. ")
I am married to Art - have one furkid - an Airedale named Summer. We live right on Lake Erie and I love it here.
I am CFO for a small business, work 4 days, with 3 day weekends. We own a restaurant and Art works all the time, so I have plenty of time for my artwork ... go figure, ha.
My other interests are reading, scrapbooking, shopping, and getting together with long time friends.
Where I'm from:
Luna Pier, Michigan
About my Art:
I had NO idea I could create the things I create, until I got into rubber stamping in 1990. From there my interest just grew and grew and I would try new things ... you know how it goes. Now I love everything to do with collage, altering, etc...it's all amazing.
Where am I going?
I want to try more background things, do another altered book, try a Round Robin ... I want to keep growing in the things I will try.
