Sharon Bruner said… - Alicia, I was so inspired by the pages I saw there (John Buckman's blog). This is something that I've always wanted to do and have just never took time out to do it. I have even saved some books for the journal. One of my dearest artist friends (Sara Hanlon.....out of this world book maker and calligrapher) has made several books for me, so I'm using one of the first she ever gave me. I'm almost to the point that I don't want to do any swaps (yikes!) and just want to start with the journal. I had seen John's site posted in several places and then when you and Renna (?) both posted it, I just had to check it out!

- I work in telecommunications and enjoy traveling, reading, and making things. I am a fanatic of all things Disney. My office walls are adorned with vintage attraction posters from the parks. One of my bucket list items is to visit each of the Disney resorts. So far I've been to Orlando, Anaheim and Paris. Three down, two to go.

- I'm a relatively new artist who enjoys playing in fused glass, mosaic tile work and altered books. If I had a clue about how to sew I would love to get into costuming. I've done a little of it, but pretty much "costuming lite" so far.
