Friends
Friends is a feature here much like on any social network. Here's how it works;
On your end...
If you want someone to be your friend, on their member page under their name- click "add as friend", then it'll say request sent until you get an answer.
Then what happens....
You've sent a request or received a request, then what? If you've set up to receive email notifications, you'll get an email saying so & so wants to be your friend. You can click the email link to take you to the right place....or if you're on the network- look on the very top of the page. You'll see your user name, an envelope & a little person. Click on the little person. You'll see who wants to be your friend & you can accept or decline. And you can go to their page & reciprocate the request. This is building your network of friends.
You can make your blog posts & photos available to everyone or just your friends. The default is everyone. If you're posting something private, you may want to make it just for your friends.
Go forth and make friends ;-)
